MISS AND MISTER HUELVA 2011

Miss and Mister Huelva 2011 was held this weekend. Winning the Miss Huelva 2011 title was Elena Olmedo, 20. Antonio Riquelme, 22, won the Mister Huelva 2011 title. Their titles give them the right to compete for Miss and Mister Spain 2011. Miss Huelva runners-up were Rocio Carvajal and Antonela Cuadri. Mister Huelva runners-up were Alvaro Villanuea, 19, and Jesus Benjumea, 25.

CARNIVAL QUEEN

Carnival is one of Beauty School's favorite times of the year. The best known carnival in Spain is perhaps the one in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, where last night, the annual Carnival Queen was elected. She is Laura Ojeda and her winning creation was called "I'm Gran Canaria." Can you imagine that costume on the Miss Universe stage? Oh, BTW, one of the judges was Alberto García, Mister Spain 2010. MISTER CIBELES

Mister Spain 2009 Guillermo Garcia modeled high fashions by designer Francis Montesinos during the 53rd edition of Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week (CMFW) this week in Madrid. Montesinos' shows and fashions are always spectacular! Guillermo is spectacular, too. He is the epitome of alta moda. Prof. Chandni is still peeved with the Mister World 2010 judges for not putting Guillermo in the top 10.

HOLY TOLEDO!

Holy Toledo! The new Miss and Mister Toledo 2010-2011 are África Pérez and Diego Otero. They won their titles on Saturday during a gala ceremony at the Hotel Beatriz in Toledo. Posing with them in the photos are Emiliano García, the mayor of Toledo, and and Félix Ramiro, fashion designer and Miss and Mister Toledo director.

MISS AND MISTER BIZKAIA 2011

Miss and Mister Bizkaia 2011 were elected last night. Miss Bizkaia 2011 is Itziar Ramos, 24 and 1m72. She also took the title of Miss Sonrisa Bonita. Miss Bizkaia 2011 first runner-up was Alba Larrea; second runner-up was Ilenia Vallejo. Mister Bizkaia 2011 is Aketx Rojo, 19 and 1m88. He also took the title of Mister Congeniality. Mister Bizkaia 2011 first runner-up was Iker Narváez; second runner-up was Yoel Sola. Ten women and ten men competed for the coveted titles, which give them the right to compete for Miss and Mister Spain 2011.

PACO'S PACKAGE

Paco's package takes the prize! Francisco (Paco) Talavera is the winner of 2011 Concurso Nueva Cara Men's Health. He adorns the cover of the January issue of the Spanish magazine. The 1m89 Paco represented Cadiz at the Mister Spain 2010 contest, where he finished in the top six. This is the second year in a row that a Mister Spain contestant has won the Concurso Nueva Cara Men's Health. Last year's winner was Fran Fiol, Mister Illes Balears 2009-2010 (and who also competed in Mister Spain 2010).

MISS AND MISTER LAS PALMAS 2010

The new Miss Las Palmas 2010 is Miss Santa María de Guía Aranzazu Estévez, 22, and the new Mister Las Palmas 2010 is Mister San Bartolomé Néstor Acosta, 23. Aranzazu also won the title of Miss Elegancia, and Néstor also won the titles of Mister Elegancia and Mister Cuerpo Bonito. Aranzazu and Néstor won their titles late last night during a joint, co-ed contest at the Hotel Cordial, en Mogán. Miss Las Palmas 2010 first and second runners-up were Miss La Isleta Anais Ramos and Miss Playa del Ingles Noemí Arroyo. Mister Fuerteventura Víctor García and Mister Lanzarote Rafael Santana were first and second runners-up for Mister Las Palmas 2010. The glittering gala was co-ed at the last minute - Mister Las Palmas was planned for Friday night, but was postponed because of inclement weather. Special guest at the pageant was Las Palmas' very own - the recently crowned Mister Spain 2010 Alberto Garcia.

MISS AND MISTER ALMERIA 2010

The new Miss and Mister Almería 2010 are Nina López Sánchez, 20 and 1m77, and José Miguel Navarro Cabello, 27 and 1m88. They won their titles over the weekend during a gala celebration at the Maestro Padilla Municipal Auditorium. Runners-up for the Miss Almería title were Elisabeth Vílchez Gómez, 18, and Jennifer Collazo Marta, 17. Vicente Padilla Marín, 20, and Francisco Jesús Rodríguez Cazorla, 21, were the runners-up for the Mister Almería title.

MISS AND MISTER MALAGA 2010

This weekend was a busy one for pageants! The new Miss Málaga 2010 is Miss Torremolinos Belinda Gutiérrez Tobé and the new Mister Málaga 2010 is Mister Puerto Banús Adrián Gallardo Alcoholado. A total of 42 competitors (21 women and 21 men) vied for the coveted titles in the joint pageant.

Mister Las Palmas is Mister Spain 2010!

Mister Las Palmas Carlos Alberto Garcia is the new Mister Spain 2010. Carlos, 24 and 1m92, won the title just minutes ago in Toledo. First runner-up was Mister Toledo David Hernandez, 28. Second runner-up was Mister Cordoba was Rafael Lopez, 25.

MISS AND MISTER ZARAGOZA 2010

The new Miss and Mister Zaragoza 2010 are Maria Sierra, 19, and Ismael Gomez, 19. They won their titles this weekend at a joint gala. Like the lion that is the symbol of Zaragoza, they stand tall and proud. Maria is 1m80 and Ismael is 1m91.
